ASC Defensive Pistol Match ... Saturday, August 29th

Our Defensive Pistol match season continues with our Third match of the year, come on out and see what it's all about!
No prior experience is required and is open to anyone that wants to either participate or watch the event.

Defensive Pistol Shooting is a format of competitive shooting that scores the participants on the combined skills of accuracy and speed. The competition involves "stages" (Courses of Fire) that require the shooter to engage multiple targets accurately and but also quickly.  Each shooter is timed, the best score reflects a combined skill set of both fast shooting and accurate shooting.

We follow the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) format. (see for details)
The match is open to semi-automatic pistol and revolver shooters.
