Women On Target

Ladies will have the opportunity to shoot smallbore rifle, smallbore pistol, clay targets with shotguns, and archery.  A luncheon buffet at the Airfield 4-H Center is included.

Airfield Fall Shoot Open

The Airfield Shooting Club will be hosting the first annual Airfield Fall Shoot Open which is a registered NSSA skeet shoot on October 6, 2012, at the ASC skeet field.  The skeet field will be closed to members from 9:00 am until the competition is complete.  Contact ASC Member Ken Grover to register for event or for more information about the event at kgrover@hughes.net .

Wedding Ceasefire

An outdoor wedding will be held at the 4-H Center from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.  The ASC will honor a ceasefire during that time period.  No caliber greater than a. 22 long rifle round is to be fired during the wedding.  The shotgun fields will be closed during the time period.  

Sunset occurs during this time, as the range closes at Sunset this should not be a problem.

4-H "Backward" Day

4-H Campers from various counties around Virginia will be using the range during the AFTERNOON.  Time period of usage will be from roughly noon until about 4:30 PM.  This schedule will be revised as more current information comes in.  Please double check the calendar before going to the range.
