Service Rifle August 2016 Match Results

Greg Metzgar's picture

Despite the heat index rising into the 100+ degree range, and the humidity being thick enough to cut with a knife, there were eight participants who made it to the range to shoot. Some great scores were turned in, and a good time was had by all. If you've not come to one of the Service Rifle or Zombie Matches we hold on the second Saturday of the month, it's time to mark your calendar and shake the dust off of that high power that you have sitting around. Remember, "Use them or Loose them." It might be fun to see is you can hit one or more vaunted "X" rings at a 100-yards.

Dog Days Match Results

Thanks to all of our intrepid shooters who braved the heat to shoot pins. Special thanks to my co-match directors Art and Courtney for running a fun and safe contest. We had a nice turnout and shooters turned in some excellent times. We will see you next month at the Labor Day Weekend match.

Range Closure Friday - August 5th

Due to the need to conduct soil management work, the range will be CLOSED from 12:00pm (Noon) until the end of thr day.We will be applying chemicals and it needs to settle before the range can be used.Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

ASC Flyer News Bulletin Jul 2016

Paddy Maloney's picture

Hello All,

This news bulletin is provided to talk about how to secure our gate at the ASC Range. Perhaps some of you maybe confused on how to lock the gate so I am sending another bulletin out with pictures to illustrate how we lock our gate. This is important as 4H personnel or safety personnel might need access and they cannot gain access if the lock is locked to the chain. That is why we use the two lock system. I also have provided some safety information about weather and lightning. There are some helpful tips and links to articles that are interesting.
