Happy New Year!!! January's Flyer has been posted to the website. Included are the President's notes on last month's Board meeting, a product review which I think would be interesting for shotgun shooters and especially shell reloaders, and a brief artical on John Zupka's new Hobby! Enjoy
December's Board meeting is scheduled for 9:30AM, December 17th. Board meetings are always open to the membership. So how about joining us this coming Saturday starting with a buffet breakfast in the Main 4H building between 8:30-8:45AM. The cost is a $8.40. If you plan on attending, please e-mail Richard Vaught at rvpvineurope@hotmail.com so that he may give a headcount to the Center. Hope to see you there!!!
The previous version of the Flyer had an error. Please note that any contributions for the restroom facilities should be made out to the Airfield 4H Center. Checks made out to Asc will not qualify for a tax deduction!!! Sorry!
Please enjoy this month's Flyer. Featured is an article by our Swamp Shooter writer on the Southeast District Shoot in July, an upcoming markmanship class designed for hunters, and an announcement about the youth deer hunter day coming up on Septembert 24. Enjoy!
Members, the August newsletter is attached. This month there is an overview of accomplishments through the last Board-Year. Part III of trap shooting tips is presented. A posting of upcoming events is included for your convenience. Some light hearted "safety issues" are given in the Spirit Of Bill Engvall.
This regular edition of the Flyer provides an overview of the ranges from the XO's Desk, Part II of "Trap Shooting" from our Shotgun Director, and some guidance on how to open our combination locks. During the summer, the 4H Campers use the ranges for 1/2 days usually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please make sure to check the calendar before you travel to the range. We try to keep it up to date as best we can. Also, if you have a 4H or NRA certification, you might look into helping out in August at the Ranges.
