Dillon Powder Measure Tuning

I love reloading on my Dillon. I usually use it for straight wall pistol ammunition. Once it is set up and dialed in, I can crank out plenty of 9mm and 45 to feed our shooting habit. My wife even likes the Dillon as it saves money on ammo and she thinks that the sound of me reloading on the Dillon and reaching into the brass bucket reminds her of the Pink Floyd song Money.

Range Closure Update

Posted in

With the recent snowstorm dumping over six inches of snow on the range, construction of the wall is delayed.
The range floors of both the 50 and 100 meter ranges are a muddy mess as a result of all the earth moving and the rain and snow.
They have already had one truck mired up the axle and the contractor still needs to get the majority of the gravel delivered and installed.
Then everything needs to be graded and finalized, not to mention the inspections after completion.

Pungo Posse Match for Feb 6th Cancelled

Unfortunately the Pungo Posse match for the 6th of February is cancelled.
The icing on the cake was the amount of snow that fell in the area this weekend. There is no way that the wall construction will be finished and the inspections completed in time for the match. At this point it is not known how long the weather may delay the construction. We hope to have a better estimate later this week once the contractor has a chance to see how things look.

The 2010 Bowling pin season got off to a cool start on January 9th. A 19 degree cool start to be exact. But there was no breeze and the sun was out, so shooting conditions were actually quite comfortable.
